Meet Sherri

Sherri wears many hats. She serves as Director of the Center for Media and Information Literacy at Temple University where she is Professor of Instruction in Klein College of Media and Communication and directs the Certificate in Children’s Media. She is the host/producer of the podcast, Kids Talk Media and the media literacy television series, Media Inside Out.

Center for Media and Information Literacy

The Center for Media and Information Literacy was established in 2012 at the Klein College of Media and Communication, Temple University as a hub research, outreach, education, and professional development on issues involving media literacy and information literacy locally, nationally, and internationally.

Media Inside Out

Media Inside Out is a television talk show that explores the media we love to watch, listen to, read and play with an analytical and critical approach. Each episode digs deep into a specific media theme or media property. Media Inside Out promotes creative and intellectual dialogue while encouraging viewers to analyze their own media habits.
